Horny Toed Blog

Mail Bag time!
From Kyle of Stoneham, MA: Tallent, do you like the extra shit they do at the Celtics games, like the dancing girls and shooting t-shirts at people?
Yeah, most the stuff they do is pretty cool, The dancing girls are real hot, I especially like there white shorts. But I'll tell ya, they better be careful when the drop the t-shirt parachutes, when me and the The Gootch went to the game last week the 50 year old guy in front of us felt it was worth risking his life for a free t-shirt and almost fell over and right out of the balcony. If the Gootch didn't grab his belt and stop him, I would be blogging about the guy I seen plummet to his death for a t-shirt.

From Tam of Canton, MA: Tallent, who would win in a fist fight, Clemans or Schilling?
Well, Clemans has the girth advantage and roid rage going for him, but as we all seen in 2004 Schilling has a much higher tolerance for pain, so I think Schilling would outlast Clemans in the fight, especially if the fight was in October.

From Matt Murdock of Hells Kitchen, NY: Tallent, who's hotter, Belinda Carlisle or Suzann Hoffs from the Bangles?

Matt, great question. I personally would go with Hoffs, especially now a days. This is an age old question though and I would like my readers to chime in by voting on the poll I've set up.

From Thomas Detraine from Alameda, CA: Tallent, are you the only judge of the Madlibs contest?
Nope, besides myself there are 3 professional judges. Judge Lance Ito, Judge Inamy and Judge Reinhold.
From Dante Calabria from Chapel Hill, NC:
Tallent, next month your daughter is being christened, if you had your own religion how would the christening go?
Dante, we could just do the christening at the Cornerstone, (That's the Cornerstone, 16 West Broadway, SB, MA). Everyone would dress up as there favorite Marvel Super hero or villain and instead of holy water, we'd would use Coors lights(not too much though) and the Strokes would play during the whole ceremony. The ceremony also could be done by any Mailer Demon.
The Celtics won again last night, taken down Seattle. Even though the Sonics are lousy its was a good win for the C's, coming off a back to back on the road and playing against some very motivated ex-Celtics. Pierce was huge scoring 37, also Eddie House of M had some daggers for the Sonics. Very tough weekend for the C's when they have to play Utah and the Lakers back to back nights.

Birthdays today:

Ex-President Woodrow Wilson, 86 Mets piece of shit Ray Knight, Baseball star BJ Ryan and star of Devil in a Blue Dress Denzel Washington.

But today we pay homage to Stan "the man" Lee. Mr. Lee is the mind behind legendary comic characters such as Spider Man, The Fantastic Four, X-Men, The Hulk, Daredevil, Iron Man, & the Black Panther. Also led the Expansion of Marvel Comics from a small publication to a large media corporation. Stan Lee's Marvel revolution extended beyond the characters and storylines to the way in which comic books engaged the readership and built a sense of community between fans and creators. Lee introduced the practice of including a credit panel on the splash page of each story, naming not just the writer and penciller but also the inker and letterer. In later years, Lee became a figurehead and public face for Marvel Comics. He made appearances at comic book conventions around America, lecturing at colleges and participating in panel discussions. He moved to California in 1981 to develop Marvel's TV and movie properties. He has been an executive producer for, and has made cameo appearances in Marvel film adaptations and other movies.
Lee has received several awards for his work, including being formally inducted into the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995.
He is among the celebrities scheduled to receive a star on the in 2008.
